Former President Donald Trump has openly criticized President Joe Biden, accusing him of “illegally using all of the levers of Law Enforcement” to incarcerate him.

This accusation comes after Trump faced four indictments in 2023, two of which were from Biden’s Department of Justice.

Trump’s Truth Social posts

Trump took to Truth Social on Christmas morning with a series of posts. In his initial message, he declared that 2024 will be marked by

“GREAT AND FULLY COORDINATED ILLEGAL ELECTION INTERFERENCE,” alleging collusion between the Biden administration and various legal authorities across the country.

Despite these claims, Trump expressed confidence in a victory in the 2024 general election, stating:

“2024 WILL GO DOWN AS THE YEAR OF GREAT AND FULLY COORDINATED ILLEGAL ELECTION INTERFERENCE BY CROOKED JOE BIDEN, THE WORST AND MOST CORRUPT PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES, THE DOJ, FBI, A.G.’s, & D.A.’s THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY, BUT DESPITE IT ALL, IN THE END, THERE WILL BE A BIG AND GLORIOUS VICTORY FOR THOSE BRAVE AND VALIANT PATRIOTS WHO WANT TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!”

Trump: MAGA 2024

In a subsequent post, Trump lamented the difficulty of having a good Christmas under a president he described as corrupt and incompetent, who is intent on jailing a political opponent.

He added, “We are in the fight of our lives to save our Country from MADNESS & DOOM. MAGA 2024!!!”

Legal Challenges and Political Impact

Trump is currently under two federal indictments brought by DOJ Special Counsel Jack Smith and has also faced indictments in New York and Georgia, pursued by district attorneys Alvin Bragg and Fani Willis, respectively.

If convicted on all charges, Trump could face a maximum sentence of over 700 years, as reported by Breitbart News.

Despite facing 91 charges in total, Trump’s legal troubles have seemingly bolstered Republican support for him, as he leads in GOP candidate polls with the Iowa caucuses approaching.

Additionally, Trump reportedly holds an advantage in national and battleground state polls against Biden, who, according to a recent Gallup report, has the lowest approval rating of any president since Jimmy Carter in 1979.
